A way long time ago, like before Thanksgiving, I hosted a sewing day for my friend Jennifer. I taught her to use my sewing machine and we each made one of Anna Maria Horner’s Figure 8 Scarves.

In retrospect this was maybe not the best option for a first foray into sewing as it contains both hand stitching and large pieces of fabric. Regardless, foray we did and at the end of the day we both came away with this cute scarf.
